I’m Anna Laurila — a.k.a. The Superanza — born on a cold Saturday in Stockholm, Sweden, January 1966. That makes me an Aquarian, and a Fire Horse. In Chinese philosophy, Fire represents passion, creativity, and transformation. I write, create images, and compose music. I like cats, red wine and coffee. I live in a village of ten in northern Sweden and I drive a bus for a living.
I’m a former sign designer—starting from scratch with a scalpel in one hand and a roll of vinyl in the other. Between 1999 and 2012, I worked at Stockholmsmässan International Fairs, where I led the Digital Signage project in 2007–2008.
I’ve written books by hand and painted with brushes. Now I use different tools. Every image on this site was generated in Midjourney or DALL·E, edited in Photoshop, and animated in Runway. The music is composed in Logic Pro.
My themes? There’s no red thread—just ideas scrambling somewhere in my head before they claw their way out.
